Parrot Dream now shares “Light Goes (In Mines),” the lead single off of their forthcoming debut LP out August 24th via Good Eye Records.
The track premiered with Atwood Magazine who said, “Beneath the dreamy contours of their music lies heavy thematic content that seeks to better understand relationships, time and place, purpose, and so forth.”
The band further details, “‘Light Goes (In Mines)’ was written as a reflection on the relationship between a father and child. It speaks of emotions often unexpressed and the desire to communicate stories buried and left untold. In this relationship, there is sometimes a sharp need to question deeply that goes unanswered. Mysteries remain unilluminated. This song is inspired in part by Gonzalo and his father.”
Parrot Dream is also now sharing plans for their record release show, August 24th at Union Pool in Brooklyn, NY. Tickets are available now.
